“Tech Tips Tuesdays” Launches This Month
Busy K-12 education technology innovators looking to boost their know-how and expand their skill set now have a timely new resource. SmartBrief is pleased to announce “Tech Tips Tuesdays” in SmartBrief on EdTech, the leading daily K-12 Ed Tech newsletter. The tips, written by educators for educators, are being produced in partnership with GreyED Solutions, a company headed by nationally recognized education leaders serving K12 schools and the EdTech Industry.
SmartBrief serves 800,000 educators daily – including 57,000 K-12 Ed Tech leaders – by way of its newsletters featuring timely, relevant, curated and original content.
“This partnership will help us connect educators with real-world tips from their peers on one of the hottest topics in the field,” senior education editor Melissa Greenwood said. “We are excited to find new ways to help educators engage, innovate and discuss what’s working in education.”
The tips will share best practices around topics ranging from professional development to data security and everything in between. GreyED will be pulling from their network of leading educators and industry experts to ensure topics are timely and solutions are actionable and thought provoking for readers.
These “Tech Tips” will be featured every month on SmartBrief’s SmartBlog on Education, and will have a prominent place on SmartBrief’s new website, launching this year.
“We are incredibly excited to partner with SmartBrief on this endeavor to give educators insight into tips and real best practices from their peers around the nation,” shares Dr. Julie Carter, CEO of GreyED Solutions. “Bringing together information in this forum allows us to leverage the collective knowledge and experiences from education leaders who have lived the challenges and triumphs of implementations and initiatives surrounding education technology.”
GreyED’s leadership team of Julie Carter and Rob Dickson, both named “20 to Watch” education technology leaders by the National School Board’s Association, brings relevance and current perspective to the information schools are asking for. With their work in K12 schools around the county they have a pulse on national initiatives and common trends and challenges facing education leaders.
