Research shows that collaborative learning empowers students to take control of their learning and facilitates higher-level thinking. However, with new models come new challenges:

– In a collaboration environment, how do we know students are getting the right information at the right time?
– How do teachers manage small groups and facilitate seamless communication and sharing, especially as class size continues to grow?
– How does the increase of devices in the classroom impact opportunities for collaboration? What new challenges do these devices introduce?
